The International Coalition for Sustainable Infrastructure (ICSI), a partnering organization withย WFEO, ย is launching aย global consultation toย collect views from members of the engineering community on topics related to the implementation ofย disaster risk management, resilience and sustainable development in the built environment.ย

As part ofย this consultation, ICSI is seeking input and feedback from engineering institutions, practitioners andย academics through this survey, expert interviews and convenings.ย

Results of the consultation will be fedย into the official process of the Sendai Framework Mid-Term Review to represent the views of theย engineering community. This survey comprises three parts:
Part 1 Introduction
Part 2 Implementation of Disaster Risk Management and Resilience
Part 3 Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals

Part 2, which constitutes the bulk of this survey, has been designed to align with the consultation for theย Mid-Term Review of the Sendai Framework. We encourage participation from those with all levels ofย understanding about the Sendai Framework.

Below are two versions of the survey, please select the most appropriate survey based on your
familiarity with the Sendai Framework.ย You will only need to complete one survey.ย

Survey 1: ย - includes specific questions around theย Sendai Framework, the progress achieved since its implementation in 2015 and how this might beย accelerated. If you are familiar with the Sendai Framework you should complete this survey.ย
