The International Coalition for Sustainable Infrastructure (ICSI), a partnering organization with WFEO,  is launching a global consultation to collect views from members of the engineering community on topics related to the implementation of disaster risk management, resilience and sustainable development in the built environment.

As part of this consultation, ICSI is seeking input and feedback from engineering institutions, practitioners and academics through this survey, expert interviews and convenings.

Results of the consultation will be fed into the official process of the Sendai Framework Mid-Term Review to represent the views of the engineering community. This survey comprises three parts:
Part 1 Introduction
Part 2 Implementation of Disaster Risk Management and Resilience
Part 3 Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals

Part 2, which constitutes the bulk of this survey, has been designed to align with the consultation for the Mid-Term Review of the Sendai Framework. We encourage participation from those with all levels of understanding about the Sendai Framework.

Below are two versions of the survey, please select the most appropriate survey based on your
familiarity with the Sendai Framework. You will only need to complete one survey.

Survey 1:  - includes specific questions around the Sendai Framework, the progress achieved since its implementation in 2015 and how this might be accelerated. If you are familiar with the Sendai Framework you should complete this survey.
(en français) (en español)
Survey 2:  - includes broader questions about the implementation of disaster risk management, resilience and sustainable development.
 (en français) (en español)

Please share this survey with others within your networks who might be interested in contributing.
The deadline for completing this survey is Sunday 4 th September 2022.
