The Institution of Engineers of Kenya in collaboration with the Engineers Board of Kenya will hold it’s 30th annual convention between 14th and 17th November, 2023 at Pride Inn Paradise Beach Resort Convention Centre and Spa in Mombasa. The theme of convention is ‘Engineering a New World’.
During the same period, Kenya will play host to the 18th World Council of Civil Engineering (WCCE) General Assembly. The World Council of Civil Engineers (WCCE) is a global platform of civil engineering societies, civil engineering-related companies, non-governmental organizations related to civil engineering, academic institutions, and individual professional civil engineers.
In addition to the main Convention, IEK will host the 6th Women Engineers Summit and the 2nd Future leaders’ summit. These summits are important events that help to advance the objectives of IEK, by promoting gender diversity, inclusivity, and the development of the next generation of engineering leaders in Kenya.
The conventions and summits hosted by the IEK provide valuable opportunities for engineers to engage with one another, share knowledge and experiences, and work towards a common goal of promoting engineering excellence and contributing to the development of Kenya and the world at large.
